Elastic Clock

This article describes a circuit that I designed to demonstrate my Z8000 emulator based on the universal development system that I had previously written about. I have included the magazine cover and topic introductory pages because my article was the lead for this topic and issue. The cover is an artist's interpretation of the complexity and interconnectedness of memory system design. The topic introductory page logo is composed from a portion of my schematic. The artist cleverly made a self-similar design (like a fractal) placing a reduced version of the overall design in each of the three contained elements.
