Partitioning Multitasking Communication

This article describes both a lightweight thread means for multitasking under MSDOS and a method for partitioning a program vertically and horizontally to take advantage of this very efficient means of multitasking. I developed these techniques for the BM-Hitachi 747 clinical chemistry analyzer. Hitachi continued to use this for other instruments, calling it “DavidDOS“ (I never name anything after myself).
