I was developing my own advertising plan for uCISE when I connected up with Synertek. This picture was intended to emphasize the superiority of my In-Situ Emulation over ICE alternatives. Synertek's marketing department wisely concluded that customers would not care about my theories and were much more interested in getting a tool that would solve their own problems. Fortunately, my theories did address their problems although I had to do a lot of ancillary work to provide a truly usable tool. Synertek would not have liked this photo anyway because it showed three competitors' devices that uCISE supported in addition to Synertek's Z8.
